Spotify/Uber: "Spotify Your Ride" (2014) :58 (USA)

Oh joy. Two tech giants are coming together. Link your Spotify Premium account to Uber and you can listen to your music in Uber, too! Kind of like when you had an iPod and you brought your music everywhere, except back then you were buying music and artists were still making a living. I'm surprised you have to link Spotify Premium, what with Spotify's recent rants against Taylor Swift for wanting to make money off her new album, because music should be free etc., etc.
Anyway, let's talk about the ad. It's one big product demonstration featuring people dancing to music that's so innocuous you might hear it in the lounge of a W Hotel. In other words, it's an ad made for Silicon Valley. Client: Spotify/Uber
