In Internet World Walkabout, players are transported into a virtual Earls Court in which they must look after all the attendees at Internet World. With a Sims-style feel, this game is full of brand managers and IT directors who all need to find what they're looking for at the exhibition. When they think about where they want to go, defined in a thought bubble above their heads, you must pick them up with your mouse and drop them into the relevant section of the show. As well as being fiendishly good fun, this game promotes all the major Internet and digital marketing arenas covered by the show and highlight's this years focus on Web 2.0 technologies. At the end of the game, users can opt to click through to the Internet World site to register for free tickets to the event. Finally, a bit of trivia - the female voices in this game are provided by kid's TV presenter and ex-Precious band member Sophie McDonnell. The game is off to a flying start going straight to No. 1 on the ViralChart on the day of launch where it's stayed ever since. http://www.internetworld.co.uk/game We hope you enjoy the game, and we look forward to seeing any of you who are coming along to at Internet World on 29 April - 1 May 2008. The planet's supply of water is running out and showers use bucket-loads of it. They also use a lot of energy turning cold H2O into nice, hot H2O. So by trimming just a few minutes off your showering time, you'll use less water and save CO2 whilst getting rid of your BO(2). It's really easy to do, especially if you're a shower-singer. Simply drop Bohemian Rhapsody from your shower set and go for one of our Short Sharp Shower songs. Here's one in all it's glory ; I hope you like it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kod2EOxxZ3s Short Sharp Shower Deck was thought up and shot by talented Green Thing friend Michael Wright (www.hibikifilms.com). It was lit by Stuart Bunce and features the music of John Hegley, Zeep, The Meanies, Martin Jones and Tom Williams. When discussing how the hands should act, Wright was very specific. "They should have the panache of Tony Hart and the confidence of Rachmaninov." A Partizan-Hibiki Films production. byeeeee x -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... The results are pretty interesting as they provide a guide to the underlying mood of people towards the candidates, as well as a sense of how much buzz they're generating online and the kinds of conversations that are being had online about them. The results of the past week show Boris and Ken creating a lot of buzz, but they seem to carry little positive sentiment. Brian is proving the dark horse, with little buzz but a fair amount of positive sentiment - although the general consensus that he's boring as hell! No one seems to care (still) about Sian Berry. There's also some quite interesting trends emerging online, such as "Tube-stepping" - a new form of door-stepping from so-called citizen journalists. The full PR release is below. Opinion Tracker works though a combination of technology and people power. Our technology allows us to spider the internet (across blogs, forums, social networks and video sharing sites) and identify what people are saying about specific clusters of key words. Once this data is aggregated, our team of analysts then sample this data and process it to provide the end analysis and metrics. Metrics collated by Opinion Tracker include: Buzz (the levels of noise / conversations created), Mood (where public sentiment lies), What's Hot (what the main topics being talked about are) and Live Conversations (examples of what people are saying online). The Mayoral Election results delivered by Opinion Tracker for the last week show that Boris Johnson has created the most "buzz" with a buzz metric of 84.4, followed by Ken Livingstone on 60.1, Brian Paddick on 7.2 and Sian Berry on 2.7. The general "mood" towards the candidates tells a different story, with the public mood being most positive towards Brian Paddick with a mood metric of 26.3, followed by Ken Livingstone with -15, Sian Berry with -27.3 and Boris Johnson with -29.4. The viral campaign - Fair Game - is two games in one and is reminiscent of some classic fairground stalls. In the first game you must hook ducks and meet the target score to proceed to the bonus round. The bonus game is a duck shoot where you must aim your rifle and fire at the moving targets. You might even see some cuddly toys which are quick movers but offer you lots of points if you can hit them. As the game progresses, more variety is introduced to the levels and this encourages consumers to stay on-brand for longer. Look out for pirate ducks who are bad news for your score. Sailer ducks score big but old boots are worth nothing at all. At the end of the game, users can register with the PrizeBoom.com site and can win a Nintendo Wii in a prize draw for leaving their score on the leaderboard. Play the game at http://www.prizeboom.com/?refid=TI Have a great weekend everyone! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
