The Energy Champions game invites players to take control of a male or female character who is tasked with collecting recycling that is being dropped from the mezzanine floor of their workplace. They must then put the recycling in the correct bin to score points. Putting an item in the wrong bin means no points and letting the item fall to the floor increases the workplace's carbon workprint. When the carbon workprint gets too big, a life is lost. The game becomes progressively faster and more chaotic, with the added confusion of unmarked rubbish which you must take to each bin until you find one it will go in. The game benefits from a fun music score, and a variety of workplace scene settings giving each play a sense of uniqueness. The intro and outro for the game provides E.ON with the opportunity to communicate to it's audience, the climate change improvements it is making. The game is being independently tracked by MemeCounter and ViralChart. Check it out here: http://www.Potatoparade.co.uk Potato Parade was created in collaboration with Aardman animations, the Oscar winning team behind Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run. Together, glue and Aardman have created a gang of walking, talking potatoes whose job it is to deliver messages in the form of a ?personalised potato parade? to friends and family. As an FMCG brand, the majority of McCain?s communications centre around their products. With this viral they wanted to take the opportunity to create something that wasn?t product related and allowed people to interact and have fun with the brand. Hope you like it. If you?d like any more information on the campaign, drop me a line.
