    + Hello all
    +
+ I am completely new to this project. So please feel free to flame away if
+ my questions were answered thousands of times before :)

    No big deal :)

    +
+ Is there a reason why you did choose to write your own database
+ abstraction layer instead of using the one in Pear (or another one?). I am
+ asking this question because I am interested to run Gregarius with a
    + PostgreSQL backend.
    +
+ And what is the current status concerning multi user functionality? Are
+ you still working on the design or are you implementing some features
+ already? I would need some multi user support and would am willing to at
+ least help you out in the design and architecture of the DB and code...

There are branches for each of these:

    http://gregarius.dropcode.net/svn/branches/multiuser/ and
    http://gregarius.dropcode.net/svn/branches/postgresql/

I'm pretty sure the postgresql branch works, but the multiuser branch doesn't.
Unfortunetly, we (developers) don't have tons of free time to work on them.

    +
+ Thanks for your time and have a nice weekend.
    +
    + Cheers,
    + Eidi
