-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 The next version of Firefox includes the ability to subscribe to webservices and applications that register themselves as feed handlers (http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/DOM:window.navigator.registerContentHandler). Following a discussion on the Gregarius forums (http://forums.gregarius.net/comments.php?DiscussionID=455), I created a plugin to do this (http://www.marteydodoo.com/projects/gregarius/plugins/feedhandler.phps), but since it is a one-time use kind of action, I made the only way to access the link be through the configuration options of the plugin. I have refrained from uploading it to SVN because I wanted to get feedback from the developer community beforehand. Since currently only administrative users can add feeds, and most Gregarius installations only have one administrative user, it seemed like a waste to put the registration link on the front page. Can anyone think of a better way to implement this functionality, or does my plugin work fine? - -- Martey Dodoo http://www.marteydodoo.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFFKpwXsWveXmtD0CURArAwAKCAbs/OnZR4LGrKIbT3NxJNRer1aACgiZfB IeWjdh1K/sjYljva5V7qs1A= =DEDI -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
