    Free and open source software one of the things that brings similar
    projects together, which obviously requires setting the stage and
    introducing your work in new forums.  If you will check the message
    again, you will see that it is obviously an effort to promote such 
    collaborative efforts and coalition building through these shared
    values.

    Continuing from above, the topic is thusly of interest to some
    developers, relevant, and clearly not spam.  I am sorry to hear that
    you think that the message was spam.  Cross-posting is sometimes
    necessary in order to get the collaborative work started.  
    
    The spam label should not be thrown lightly around, because list
    members should think of other members who might find such posts
    interesting, and expression itself is at stake, so please be careful
    with this type of accusation.
