    Hi,
    
    For inspiration on building that Widget plugin see, please, both
    http://automattic.com/code/widgets/ and http://widgets.wordpress.com/websites.
    
    Gregarius already has a plugin approach so, IMHO, porting the widget plugin
    from WP to it would be faster than building everything from scratch.
